Here's the fruition of my cartoon Luke inks, all colored :)

...Yes, I do know the entire thing is purple. It's an exaggerated sunset, and I like heightened atmospheric color. :p

Hey, I like purple, so it's cool with me. Plus, sunsets can be purple; I've seen a few myself. So, very nice job! I like his face expression most of all, lol :D

Great, great job. I was thinking it would turn out like something totally different (daylight). Really liked the "evening treatment." Awesome job on the hair and reflection...that's what really sells it.

Yeah, if really could go different ways depending on the coloring job, couldn't it? I wanted it to be reminiscent of the Binary Sunset scene from the first Star Wars-- I was pushing it a little to have stars, maybe, though! Glad the hair and reflection work well! Yeah, getting the colors highlights and shadows right for the unusual lighting was a bit of an adventure- but I kinda wanted to expeiment to see what I could come up with. :) :)

Thank you! Yeah, there was something lovably heart-on-his-sleeve about him. I think it even comes out in ROTJ occasionally-- when he refused to fight his own father even though he seemed irrevocably Dark Side, and took the consequences. And the 'no, I have to save you!'... heh. Luke, I know he's your dad and all, but you're the only one who could go to pieces over Darth Vader like that. :p
