The more fully-painted version of the Luke and Anakin drawing I did. Also redid the cropping.

(As before, note that this does not mean I endorse a younger Anakin for the end of ROTJ...)

I really like the way the ghost was done.

Nice rendering of highlights. Successful ghost. Kind of confused with the light saber, though.....

"What do you think the artist thinks about? Do they think about fine wines or black tie affairs? No, they live for that narcotic moment of creative bliss. A moment that may come once a decade, or never at all." ~Art School Confidential~
Thanks! What about the lightsaber are you confused about?

I like the sketchy-painted feel of this piece. The ghost is excellently rendered, especially the bright blue highlighting on the face. It's often hard to paint translucency in blue shades without making it look crystallic or glassy, but you've done a great job. The cartoony appearance is a neat approach to this scene. I like the warmth in the gesture of hand-on-shoulder - it's like they're sharing a little father/son moment.

I think the background could use a little more work. Right now, it seems like it's right up against the foreground. A little more depth would be beneficial.

"Mommy, are those people on drugs?"
"No, dear, those are cosplayers. They don't have money for drugs."

I take commissions ^-^
Thanks a million. Glad you like the sketchy, cartoony way I rendered this and you liked the contact...

I appreciate the comment on the background, I always have trouble with those. Something to work on. Probably the back line of hills/trees should be closer to the color of the sky, yeah...
