Beautiful coloring and finish to this ~SJ! I love that their "home planets" form the points for the yin-and-yang. I love your style--it's very unique--but I am going to offer one critique on the faces: the "far eye" in each face seems too small to me; this may be part of your intent with the style: to make it more Picasso-esque... But for me, at least, the eyes seem to need a little adjustment so they're more similar in size; I don't think it would substantially alter the style here, but might make the faces more cohesive. Just my suggestion. Wonderful piece, and a lovely concept!

I suppose I was going for a somewhat heightened-perspective, Picassoesque type thing... thanks for your comment though, I'll think about it.
I'm glad you like the coloring and finish; thanks so much for the fave!

Glad you like the style; This one doesn't really have linework as it's more of a painting, of course.
As for doing Jacen and Jaina... well, I'll think about it, but I'll be honest that I'm not an EU reader!

Let's say, I know quite a bit about the EU from friends but don't read it. Look, I know, I know, I don't have to be a reader to draw them... it does help, though. I really do feel bad about not using your suggestions so far, when you're the only one so far to request something specific from me... I will try out your Tenel Ka, Allana and Jacen/Jaina suggestions, ok? But they may not line up perfectly with what's in the books

Love the concept! and it's not often that you see caricatures of SW characters. Realistic portraits, yes. Comic/manga-style, yes. So stuff like this is always a treat.
I like how you use unsaturated colours to your advantage. I keep trying for that... but my stuff winds up bright and shiny anyway.

As for the unsaturated, yeah, I've been playing around with that lately, I'm glad you think it's a good thing here. I'm still not sure if it doesn't want a little bit more punch.
Personally, I tend to really *like* highly saturated pieces-- that takes a lot of skill to get right, too.

Ah--I was correct, then--disregard my previous suggestion, then: for this type of style, it's wonderful as it is!
