Beautiful coloring and finish to this ~SJ! I love that their "home planets" form the points for the yin-and-yang. I love your style--it's very unique--but I am going to offer one critique on the faces: the "far eye" in each face seems too small to me; this may be part of your intent with the style: to make it more Picasso-esque... But for me, at least, the eyes seem to need a little adjustment so they're more similar in size; I don't think it would substantially alter the style here, but might make the faces more cohesive. Just my suggestion. Wonderful piece, and a lovely concept!

I like your style of shading and lining as usual. btw can you do a version for Jacen and Jaina as well? thanks

I suppose I was going for a somewhat heightened-perspective, Picassoesque type thing... thanks for your comment though, I'll think about it. :)

I'm glad you like the coloring and finish; thanks so much for the fave!

Glad you like the style; This one doesn't really have linework as it's more of a painting, of course.

As for doing Jacen and Jaina... well, I'll think about it, but I'll be honest that I'm not an EU reader!

Ah--I was correct, then--disregard my previous suggestion, then: for this type of style, it's wonderful as it is!

Let's say, I know quite a bit about the EU from friends but don't read it. Look, I know, I know, I don't have to be a reader to draw them... it does help, though. :( I really do feel bad about not using your suggestions so far, when you're the only one so far to request something specific from me... I will try out your Tenel Ka, Allana and Jacen/Jaina suggestions, ok? But they may not line up perfectly with what's in the books :p

:D Love the concept! and it's not often that you see caricatures of SW characters. Realistic portraits, yes. Comic/manga-style, yes. So stuff like this is always a treat.

I like how you use unsaturated colours to your advantage. I keep trying for that... but my stuff winds up bright and shiny anyway.

Yeah, my passion is caricatures :D Thanks!

As for the unsaturated, yeah, I've been playing around with that lately, I'm glad you think it's a good thing here. I'm still not sure if it doesn't want a little bit more punch. :p

Personally, I tend to really *like* highly saturated pieces-- that takes a lot of skill to get right, too. ;)
