Something more quick and sketchy than usual; a drawing of Obi-Wan with two generations of Skywalkers. It goes to this little song/poem I made up, which sort of goes to the tune of 'Hush Little Baby":
Hush, young Skywalker, don’t you cry
Obi’s gonna train you and show you why
Be it the night or across the sky
Obi’s gonna be there, while others die
Hush young Skywalker, don’t you cry
Obi’s gonna be there to see you fly
Away from the suns and the scorching heat
Away to the intrigue where you will meet
A friend and a lady, of coifed hair
So perfect she must be a millionaire
You’ll swoop through the trench
And you’ll save the day
Much praise will we level on you today
But sorrow and trial you soon will see
To save your best friend you and that lady
Traps and more warring factions, see
You should have listened to good old me!
Hush young Skywalker, don’t you cry
Obi’ll get you training, and show you why
Be it the night or across the sky
Obi’s gonna be there while others die
Hush young Skywalkers, don’t you cry
Obi’s gonna be with you, by and by
You’ll find each other, well, don’t you know
Obi was the one who’d have told you so
The night lights up, and the Emp’ror’s dead
Dreams are fulfilled, and your tears are shed
Your pain will end, yes your pain will leave
Leaving you with pride of what you’ve achieved
And because you’re both such worthy men,
You’ll see the smile of Uncle Obi again.
Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
