Ooo, nice job! Full body and dynamic poses ARE hard, there's no doubt--I struggle with them every time I try them (and references can become a dreadful crutch, I can tell you... ). This looks good--I think the only thing that could be adjusted is the lifted leg: the thigh foreshortening looks pretty good, but the foreleg and foot need to be a bit longer. I really like how you've done the hair (braids are such a pain!), and the colors are great! I can offer links to some good online reference sites that deal with figure drawing, if you'd be interested--some of them might help you with getting good lines of motion and figure proportions. Just let me know!

Thanks, I'll take a look at the sites if you send me the links! I took life-drawing in high school, but that was a few years ago and, as you say, drawing from a reference is quite different than trying to do the same thing without.

Sometimes a different presentation of the same subject can make all the difference in how we comprehend and retain it, too!
