Finally, something new! I finally get use my tablet back, so I felt the need for some practice. This is Tom Welling aka Clark Kent / Superman on Smallville. Drawn in Photoshop with a small wacom tablet, from a color reference photo, estimated time 2-3 hours (I took brakes while doing it, so not exactly sure). I know, I know, I'll probably get over my Smallville mania soon and go back to drawing other fannish things.

I love the contrast in the shadows and highlights.
You seem to have found a couple of the few drawings I've done from reference... it's a whole lot easier that way to get realistic and they often come out a whole lot better! I love drawing cartoonish things without reference, though.
